A member asked:

A week ago i found a very light, bull eye like bite on my arm; no itching, no pain, no tick attached, next day it disappeared on its own, so i did nothing, but should i still worry about diseases tick might have carried? should i take a test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If you feel ill, or develop a generalized malaise, joint pain, muscle aches, and low grade temp, would be worthwhile to contact your doctor. The Bull's Eye lesion is often thought to necessitate ruling out Lyme disease, but certainly not the sole etiology of such an insect bite.
