I am in between insurance and my new doesn't go into affect until october 1st i have 2 medication that would be considered a controlled medicine. with the new covid allowance can i be prescribe them through here?

No controlled substances are prescribed on HealthTap, your best chance would be to have a refill called in by the previous office as otherwise it will be impossible to obtain a refill from a different provider.

HealthTap's Urgent Care or Virtual Primary Care is where doctors treat and prescribe. However, HeathTap policy does not allow any controlled medications to be prescribed. Some other medications are also restricted or not permitted. So check those parts of the site to see what drugs are allowed or excluded.
