Can i smoke weed while on antibiotics ear drops for outer ear infection?

On one hand the medical literature states that there's no significant adverse effects of smoking marijuana while taking oral antibiotics, but there has been references to enzyme systems that metabolize erythromycin type antibiotics being affected by marijuana making side effects of those antibiotics more prevalent. I think most physicians prefer you not smoking weed when on antibiotics.
