I always do a physical breast examination myself around my periods. this time when i squeezed right breast, discharge comes out which is sometimes yellow and sometimes white. i get shooting pain in both breasts (very rarely though, not persistently)?

Although you are to be commended on routine breast self-examination and probably have no illness, the signs suggest a possible infectious process and exam by a professional is warranted (also early in the menstrual cycle, usually after a period has just ended). You are not a candidate for mammography unless examination reveals a need.
