My brother had one episode of mild acute cholangitis and the reason which caused this is a gallstone that obstructed his cbd. he was immediately given antibiotics and stone was removed in 3 weeks. will it cause acute or chronic hepatitis?

Stone induced ascending acute cholangitis (likely bacterial infection) is an acute hepatitis but it should resolve completely with treatment, not lingering as a chronic hepatitis. Stone was removed, how's about the gallbladder? It should be removed as well.
