For how long ? Any recent trauma? Diabetes? Thyroid? Low B12? May be from nerve from the spinal cord but one would expect it to be more persistent, may be a mild fasciculation of muscle , may be iliohypogastric nerve irritation if had trauma or gymnastics/ back bending. May be related to organ/ colon/ ovaries /kidney in the area. Rarely may be early MS( unusual) F/u w/ MD for evaluation.
