A member asked:

I have for more than 2 years the sensation of stinging and tingling on skin groin area, what can it be from? no rash or something visible on skin...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely neuritis: Most likely a neuritis, nerve inflammation, causing this. It can be helped with topical doxepin cream and orally by tricyclic antidepressants like amitryptilline from your primary care doctor or dermatologist, if they confirm the diagnosis. Capsaicin from red pepper can help too but initially it can be very uncomfortable to use for the first four days.
