Accidentally breathed in a tic tac and i am worried that it is in my lungs. it happened about 40 minutes ago and i have a slight icy sensation in my chest now. should i be concerned?

I doubt if it went into your lungs. There are a set pf protective reflexes that trigger almost continuous coughing spells if this were to happen. If by some chance it did and did not trigger immediate cough you would eventually.

Yes, I would be concerned. Foreign bodies, including Tic-tacs, don't belong in your lungs. While it may dissolve gradually in there, it might not, and then you are a set up for a nasty chemical/foreign body pneomonitis. Best to get this checked out.

The sensation may be related to the GI tract rather than your lungs. Watch for signs of breathing difficulty, fever and chest pain.
