Yes, this could be restless leg syndrome. The weakness suggests that this might have arisen from a pinched nerve in your back. Restless leg syndrome can be caused by lumbar spinal stenosis which causes pinched nerves. You might consider talking this over with your physician so that this can be properly assessed and treated.
