Would expect some wear and tear arthritis by age 77 to account for your mild joint pain. One area to improve is your Vitamin D deficiency. Would urge supplementation of at least 1000-2500 units of D-3 daily with a goal to get your serum levels to 50-70 ng/ml. Check outcome in 2-3 months as it will take time to stabilize.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, positive ANA at 1:40 is not meaningful. Taking Vitamin D3, about 2000 units/day may help with aches and pains. Wish you good health!

I find many more people are vitamin D defiencient than vitamin D replete and I congratulate people with normal values. Do get your vitamin D level up to range and you may well find that your joint pain is a bit better. Positive antibody tests are not helpful here unless your doctor finds anemia, arthritis, organ disease or other signs of a systemic illness. Best wishes.
