Hi i have a contracture in my left wrist due to mild cp presumably, it's not severe,what are the chances surgical intervention is possible ? or even other methods to release it?i'm 19 ?

Consult an orthopedic hand surgeon specialist, as such contractures may eventually interfere with some activity or job requirements. "CP" at birth may not be a reversible entity, however.

If your CP is indeed mild, definitely start with physical and occupational therapy for hand problems. If you have already done a good course of this and it wasn't successful, then I would look into Botox injections to the area. I would leave surgery as a last resort as scar tissue that can form after surgery could make matters worse. If surgery, use a HAND SURGEON ONLY. Best of luck!
