Infantile uterus describes the state where even after Puberty, the uterus has not achieved normal adult size. The treatment is complex and not always successful - it depends on the degree of underdevelopment. Women with infantile uterus are most commonly infertile. This is because the severe angle of the underformed uterus results in circulatory problems which causes miscarriage.
