HSV 2 is usually transmitted through skin to skin contact during vaginal or anal sex but it can also be transmitted from giving and receiving oral sex.. In rare cases, HSV 2 caused oral herpes then kissing can transmit HSV2 to other person without sex.. Hope it helps.
