pubic hair density and color is dependent on hormones. Changes in them cause this. Re pap smear and exam it depends. If you went just for pap smear then labia would not be checked. Though some doctors are thorough and observe and examine sp. if you complain about it. Use some otc Benadryl cream for a few days. If not better see Gyn
