Look around, how many of your relatives and friends have been vaccinated, some probably months ago. Are they doing OK? How many do you know to have had the infection? How are they doing now? You will have your answer.

I wouldn't & didn't wait. The risk of ICU level care or death from covid infection for those fully vaccinated is ~1/28000, the unvaccinated at your age ~1/500 depending. You can make a choice based on discussions with your own doc about your personal factors. The germ will likely circle the globe and remain a factor for a decade or more. Full approval in a couple of vaccines is expected by winter

Get the vaccine. I did the day after it came out. The risk of vaccine is less than trivial compared to the risk of getting Covid. Do yourself and your family a favor, get vaccinated. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
