What is the risk of a blood clot after gallbladder surgery in a patient with high blood pressure and tachycardia?

It depends: The high blood pressure and tachycardia(rapid heart rate)are common after surgery due to stress and not necessarily indicators or causes of a blood clot. However, some people do in fact develop a blood clot after surgery and a rapid heart rate might be a sign warranting further evaluation.
