A "numb" and loose tooth could certainly mean infection or periodontal disease. All the brushing in the world, 24/7, will not solve this issue. You may have other issues brewing. If you haven't been seen by a dentist for an exam and cleaning within the last six months, now is the time to go. Ignore your teeth and they will go away...

Your symptoms indicate infection. Your problem will not self-heal. Please, you need to see a Dentist as soon as possible. Proper brushing is only 1 part of an effective self-care program. The other 2 parts are cleaning between teeth (floss or WaterPik) and regular dental examinations. Your Dentist can help you establish an effective Oral Hygiene program, but it won't fix your damaged tooth.
