A member asked:

Tonsillectomy and septoplasty along with reduction in uvula done12 days before for osa. how long i will get painless speech and sleep?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain post surgically will generally subside in two weeks or so, but the surgery described will not remove all the causes of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Obtain a sleep study after the operative pain has stopped. If abnormal , CPAP may be required.
