Determine the cause... is it a muscle strain, a pinched nerve, or an issue with an internal organ? Did it start after a specific activity? Is it episodic or continuous? See your physician for an evaluation.

Low back pain usually improves if you give it time. There are many conservative treatment options including medication, therapy, and sometimes injections. Surgery would be a last resort. Often the best way to treat chronic pain is to work on posture, exercise, and eating an anti-inflammatory diet. Seeing a physician would be recommended to discuss these options.
