A member asked:

What is the best way to reduce c-reactive protein? mine came back at 50, so a little worrisome, considering web searches point to cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

C reactive protein is a marker of inflammation. You do not treat CRP per se. The cause of the elevation needs to be addressed. It would be prudent to see your primary care provider for an initial assessment and to ascertain if a specialist needs to be consulted.
