The hallmark symptom of Shingles is burning pain at the site of the rash. There are many other dermatitis conditions that cause an itchy rash. Talk to your dermatologist ASAP, as Shingles can be treated in early disease with an antiviral. If it is a different rash, your Dr will be able to assess and treat this.
