I've seen two doctors, one said I need a microdiscectomy the other said I shouldn't have one & to have radio frequency ablation. Dr Steven Simon responded that it should go away in weeks, but it's been over year. Dr suggested RFA because he feels the disc has calcified and surgery should be avoid due to damaging the nerves, this true?
