A member asked:

66 yrs,low sodium levels,70% blockage reported in angiography, bp problems, doctors saying to go with stent.i wanted to know if through medicines this can be handled? if stent is the only option, is post surgery life normal? what precautions to take?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Does the patient has chest pain especially when emotional/ physical stress, shortness of breath or any heart attack? Has anyone looked into cardiac perfusion study if blood supplies are enough. Lifestyle changes are always necessary: if you’re a smoker quit smoking eat healthy diet start exercise keep your BMI 25, reduce stress, keep comorbidities under control. Hope it helps.
