A kidney stone analysis will be needed in order to determine the metabolic pathway that is creating the premises for kidney stone formation. Proper hydration helps against all, a diet and possibly treatment can be formulated once the composition is determined.

Agree with Dr. P. The one thing that will help with preventing the recurrence of any kind of stone is drinking a lot of water. Drink enough water every day so that your urine is mostly colorless. Wish you good health!
