Teeth will usually shift mesially (towards your midline). Your wisdom teeth are the most posterior teeth in your mouth, and the chances of the more mesial molars to shift distally is slim to none.

Sometimes the force required to remove a wisdom tooth can temporarily destabilize 12 year or 6 year molars. If your occlusion feels "off," return to your surgeon for reevaluation.
