I have a covid-19 and i have shortness of breath when i sit up but when i lay down i dont have a problem of breathing and i cant even cough it out anything because i start chocking should i keep staying home and hopefully i get better or i wont?

If you can COVID-19, you should be staying away from everyone else anyway. Also, rest will give you to hydrate yourself adequately and if you cough, it will be easier to get phlegm out. Hope you and person around you are vaccinated . If not, they should get vaccinated as soon as possible. Hope it helps.

COVID 19 may rapidly cause worsening. If your symptoms are similar to a mild flu, monitor your temperature, drink fluids and rest. If you note shortness of breath with mild exertion or at rest, please see the Emergency room and notify them of your infection. Self isolate for the next two weeks and until you have no fever for three days and no cough, whichever is longer in duration.
