Many insects bite look like it. Spider bite has lots of tissue damage but hallmark is central necrosis. Sometimes neck can be pressed against furniture handle or like that will also give similar pictures. Rate of resolution will also give the indication for diagnosis. Contacts with chemicals can cause it too. Hope it helps.
