Why is my vision blurry&duplicated horizontaly at extremely close.say im reading a book 3cm away from my eyes.i wont be able to focus,the words will duplicate and becomes blurry,even with only one eye.please answer why or anything related to this?

Could be accomodative spasm or convergence insufficiency, but could also be normal. When items are brought exteremely close to the eyes it can become difficult for the eyes to fixate properly. An examination with an optometrist/ophthalmologist will elucidate the cause.

When focusing on something, like reading/drawing, sometimes my eyes will flicker/shake back and forth for only a second. It's never lasted longer than that, and only when I'm focusing on something closely. I'm nearsighted if that matters?
