You do not necessarily have an illness. Body odor can be attributed to many factors, some of which include skin surface bacteria and foods that you eat. For example, someone who eats a lot of garlic will smell like garlic when you are around them. If you use adequate soap and vigorously wash when you shower, then it may be your diet. Discuss with your physician and try to isolate the cause.
