No, you should not be just because that inhaler contains sulfate. You expose to sulfur everyday in life. You are allergic to sulfa antibiotic group but not allergic to any compounds which contain sulfur (S).

If you have asthma, the addition of a controller medication is recommended. Please discuss adding an inhaled corticosteroid to your asthma plan with your PCP or during a virtual consultation with HTMG. Avoid overuse of the Albuterol and if you find that it is not sufficient to control breathing symptoms, please see urgent care or the Emergency room.
