What should i do if i have a lot of pressure in my head and ear pain while flying?

Repeated swallowing helps in opening the eustachian tube and avoid ear pain. You could carry lemon drops with you and put one in your mouth when the plane is on the runway. You can stop, once it reaches above 10,000 feet. You should do the same on the way down.

chew gum to try to relax the Eustachian tube valve to allow for the pressure to balance out also can try pinching nose and blowing out to accomplish same thing
