I had a total hysterectomy and everything was taken but one ovary. the other ovary that was taken had a mucinous cystadenofibroma that was not cancerous this was 2 years ago. recently i have been having cramping. what coukd this mean?

Since you don't have a uterus the cramping could be intestinal or even due to adhesions. I recommend having a rectopelvic examination by your gynecologist who will then decide whether the remaining ovary should be checked with an ultrasound or whether adhesions or intestinal disorder should be looked for.by evaluation by a general surgeon or a gastroenterologist if symptoms persist.

There can be many many causes of cramping and discomfort. Given your history you do have a slight increase risk of a recurrent benign tumor on the remaining ovary. If there’s any question a good exam in sonogram can rule out any issues with that remaining over it
