A member asked:

I have a lymph node that was measured at 13x13x16mm. what are the three numbers? also is this considered a round node or still oval?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The numbers are length, width and depth of the node in millimeters. Round or oval is irrelevant to the nature of pathology. If it is palpable, you may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
