My child tested positive for covid - can i schedule a telegraphy visit or should i take her to urgent care? she does not have a pcp and uninsured?

It depends on the severity of her symptoms. If she is having difficulty breathing, please see an Emergency room with a Pediatrics Department. Otherwise COVID 19 may be mild and similar to the flu in presentation. Keep her well hydrated, isolate from others and monitor her temperature and breathing. Fever is a common feature and the symptoms may linger for weeks. Watch for signs of distress.

TAKE CHILD BACK TO WHERE SHE WAS TESTED AND THEY WILL REFER HER TO WHERE SHE CAN GET TREATMENT. DON'T WAIT SHE CAN BE A SPREADER.
