These can certainly be taken back-to-back. Be sure to drink plenty of water, at least two cups after the dose, to prevent development of a solid plug.

Very good afternoon doctors. For occasional constipation, is it better to take Miralax or a fiber supplement like Metamucil or Benefiber or Citrucel or both Miralax and a fiber supplement together? Which fiber supplement do you recommend?
Ive been taking MiraLAX twice a day for the past 10 years but would like to wean since Im prone to low serum sodium . When I cut back even a bit, I have no BM despite fiber and fluids. Could I switch to Citrucel in AM and miralax in evening?
Severe pain possible anal fissure w/some bleeding for 5 months. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) softened too much. Citrucel = fissure pain back. OK to alternate both meds?
