If somebody had taken the drug datura or high dose benedryl and went to a hospital while hallucinating, how would he be treated ? would he be given a benzo? is there anything that would be able to stop his trip and hallucinations ?

Datura, famously painted by Georgia O'Keefe, are herbaceous plants that are hallucinogenic in all parts of the plant. It is not predictable how much hallucinogen will be present, and the first thing would be to be sure that the user is breathing. This is a very dangerous substance as the potency cannot be predicted.
