I always take ceritizine 10mg and montelukast 10mg nightly. my pcp hasn't sent a refill for my montelukast in two weeks. is there any substitute i can take? would it be alright if i took two doses of cetirizine 10mg? or allegra and cetirizine?

The two drugs are different in their mechanism of action. The dose should not be doubled. HTMG offers virtual consultations and you may book an online consult to request a refill of your medication. In the meantime, follow your asthma and allergy plan, avoid smoke, dust, pollen, mold and other allergens. Wash sheets and bedding in hot water and encase the mattress and pillow in dust covers.
