If person was fully vaccinated at least two weeks ago and you are vaccinated as well, the risk is almost nil. Delta strains is easily transmitted, it is transmitted earlier before symptoms appear and viral load is 1000 time higher in delta as a research study in China reported. Current 2 dose vaccines are the best protection. Mask, social distance, wash hands. Hope it helps.

Delta is a highly contagious SARS-CoV-2 virus strain, which was first identified in India. People who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus seem to have protection against Delta, however anyone who is unvaccinated & not practicing preventive strategies is at risk for infection by this variant. If you are not vaccinated you should get a Covid test due to possible exposure. I wish you well!

According to th World Health Organization, the Delta Variant is "as much as 50 to 60 percent more transmissible than the Alpha variant (B.1.1.7), which was already 50 per cent more transmissible than the original strain of COVID-19." It is likely that a UPS driver in the US would still wear a mask on deliveries. If you and the driver were both vaccinated, risk is minimal.
