I have a recurring pain in my lower left abdomen, unrelated to my period, feels like gas but isn't relieved by bowel movement, sometimes shoots down my thigh, usually lasts a day but this time several days. uncomfortable but not impeding?

Even tho no relationship to periods I would still wonder if possibly an ovarian problem (cyst perhaps?) if bowel movements & appetite are normal that would make a serious intestinal issue less likely. But if it is persistently there (even if intermittent) you need Dr evaluation (including pelvic exam) & basic tests possibly including an ultrasound
