I had fess just over 3 weeks ago. a few days after surgery, my hearing has become increasingly muffled, mainly in my right ear. its driving me crazy. is there anything i can do to clear this and should i be worried that it might be permanent?

This may be due to an infection of the ear canal or middle ear. An examination is indicated and may include an office based hearing test. Avoid any objects in the ear canal and water immersion for now. Follow ENT post surgical instructions.
