A member asked:

I have had all my female organs removed. i have been gaining weight since 2016 after the surgery. if i were to take hormones would it help me to loose the weight? respectfully, ms. gibbs?

Hormones after removal of the uterus and both ovaries will make your life more comfortable (reduce "hot flashes", mood swings, etc), but will not help you lose weight. Reduce carbohydrates (bread, potatoes, sweets) and reduce your total caloric intake and you will gradually lose weight, or see a diet counselor for a prescriptive menu.
