My lab results of troponin i level was 0.04 ng/ml. is that something to worry about?

This number could be normal in some lab references. If it is noted as high, troponin can be high in some conditions which are not due to ischemic heart disease (heart attack). Please discuss with your primary doctor.

The normal range for troponin is up to 0.4ng/ml. Unless you had symptoms suggestive of a heart problem(i.e.chest pain), I would not be concerned about a cardiac problem. Why was the troponin level done? Your doctor may be able to help further.
