A member asked:

Hi im 20 weeks pregnant along with my anatomy scan i got my annual breast ultrasound done and it showed a benign looking lesion at 7 oclock position of 4.8mm with no blood flow?

An apparent "benign lesion" in the breast while pregnant may simply represent the effects of the hormones in pregnancy on breast tissue. Suspicious lesions on digital mammograms show as spicules of calcium deposits, so check with your OB physician who ordered the mammogram for guidance, as he/she knows your entire medical history.
