I noticed pain on my shin whe i lightly bumped it about 4 weeks ago i didnt think anything of it. a few days later it still hurt if i bumped it or touched it and thought i felt a very small hard lump, now it is still painful and the lump bigger?

You should see your doctor so that the lump can be examined. Without seeing it, the lump will not be possible to diagnose. Since it is getting bigger after 4 weeks, it is time for your doctor to examine it. Only then can it be diagnosed and treated. So, call your doctor and make an appointment to be seen. It may be trauma related. But 4 weeks it a longer delay than expected. It is most likely benign, but evaluation for a mass that is painful and possibly enlarging is warranted.
