Yes. There are several body sites where we usually place vaccinations. These are selected by ease of access and tissue involved. We like to put vaccines into muscle which has consistent blood flow and absorption. However, if it is placed below the superficial tissues it will do its job. The deltoid muscle has a broader location than you may realize too.
