A member asked:

Is a small amount of red blood in spit something serious? i'm taking oral antibiotic capsules and sometimes i feel like it gets stuck in my throat. i read that it could just be a feeling because the pill scratched it. could that be causing it?

How important this might be depends on information you don't mention. Why are you taking the antibiotic? If for a respiratory infection (e.g. bronchitis), the blood might be due to the infection. If "spit" means saliva, it's more likely from your gums. Discuss with the clinic or doctor who prescribed the antibiotic.
