Strabismus is something that should be evaluated promptly. Permanent, irreversible, vision loss (amblyopia) can result if not addressed at a young age (up to 7 or 8 years old). Treatments can include glasses, prisms, and surgery. Amblyopia can be treated with drops or by patching the "good" (better seeing) eye.
