I have a dry patch on my lower lip and it feels numb when i touch it. i apply chapstick regularly and it isnt going away or getting better. could this be skin/lip cancer?

Cancer... probably not. Chapstick is not a medicament to treat lesions. So many factors play into the formation of this "dry patch". If it does not resolved on its own after two weeks, please see your physician or a dermatologist for an examination.

The skin on & around a patch of my upper lip is very dry, flaky, sometimes itchy, no matter what I put on it. For a couple weeks I've tried everything. Neosporin, lip balm, even an anti-fungal as I suspected it may be that.
