I had a mri which shows i have spinal compression and inflammation. i also need surgery on c1-c3 i have been waiting on surgery for over a month. my symptoms are getting worse. should i go to the emergency department?

Not expected than a ED visit would be productive. Unless you are developing progressive leg weakness due to cord compression, you will be sent home. Would urge contacting the potential surgeon and your primary care doctor and ascertain why there continues to be a delay. Remember, the "squeaky wheel gets the grease". Speak up and complain!
