What is your hemoglobin level? If it is above 12g/dL you are not anemic. RDW by itself is not diagnostic of anything. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Hello i had blood work done and my MCV is 93.1 MCH 33.1 AST is 78 and ALT is 166 those only showed high. Drank day day before could that make it high?
Just had 2 iron infusions (anemia due to very heavy periods and PPI use). Lab work 1 week after infusions shows a high ALT level (42) and AST higher than usual also (27). Both are usually in the teens- Related to the infusion? I do not drink?
